Pre-deployment checklist

A quick checklist to confirm you're ready to set up StudyBits.

Pre-deployment checklist

Run through this before you start. If you can check every box, setup will be smooth.

Access

  • You have an admin account (you'll be the first workspace admin).
  • You can reach your identity provider admin (or you are one).
  • You have approval to connect the company data sources you plan to use.

Identity

  • You know which IdP you use (Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace, other SAML/OIDC).
  • You know which IdP groups map to which StudyBits role (admin / manager / author / learner).

Data sources

  • You've picked the first 1–2 sources to connect.
  • A service account or admin consent is available for each (least-privilege).
  • You've confirmed those sources already enforce the permissions you expect.

Rollout

  • You know who the launch audience is (a pilot team, or the whole org).
  • You have a short internal note ready to announce StudyBits to your people.
